Welcome to the New Moon in Capricorn
The light in me sees and honors the light in you, Namaste. Happy Sunday!
The First New Moon of the year has come at the perfect time. Not only is the Moon in Capricorn, but the Sun is as well. This combination of emotional and tangible structure lays the groundwork for some amazing things to come in the next week, month, and year.
While you might not be feeling the passionate energy of the New Year, you certainly will be feeling the deep seat of peace that this New Moon in Capricorn brings.
Who is Capricorn?
Capricorn is a mythological creature who is half man from the waist up, half goat from the waist down. He is also known as the Greek God of Nature, Pan. He represents those born between December 22 and January 19. Capri focuses on preserving, planning, and understanding. Being the eldest Earth sign, the other two, Taurus and Virgo, Capricorn encourages us to be loyal, patient, and shift our awareness from the crazy gimmicks around the rat race called life to the things that are set deeper in our hearts, the things that matter most to us personally.
Our family, friendships, and homefront are sure to come to mind as we begin to ask what we might really need right now.
Capri knows how to prepare a solid foundation of peace for their family in a very natural way. Practicing the ancient traditions of their ancestors they preserve history in a way that makes mundane tasks sacred. Master conservationists, they conserve their energy and materials, not letting anything go to waste.
What can I do?
Work with your hands today. Cook something from your family’s recipes at home today. Use stones, crystals, and earth in your meditation to channel the energy of the Capricorn New Moon today.
Create a plan that is in alignment with structure, stability, and family tradition.
Get ready to receive many blessings as you slowly, thoughtfully, and respectfully climb the mountain in front of you. Stick to your plan, meditate on it, and listen to the wisdom that comes from within. You can do anything!
New Moon Affirmation
Repeat after me:
“I am capable!”
Affirm, “I am capable.”
Again! “I am capable!”
Yes you are! And I’m so thankful you are!
You got this.
We got this!
Lots of Love!
