Crescent Moon
Crescent Moon
Namaste. Welcome to 804 Main St! You are invited here whenever you want to practice yoga or find relaxation through wellness or deep tissue massage. In this post, we are exploring the meaning behind the crescent moon logo at Kerrville Yoga.
The crescent moon represents transformation and illusion. Just like the moon changes phases, so too do you. Just like the diaphragm is constantly changing it’s position, so too is the moon.
If you are feeling down, don’t worry! You will feel light again soon. Conversely, if life has shown you the spotlight, use caution. Illumination only lasts for so long. It’s all an illusion! Things are constantly changing. The goal is to observe the transformation without judgment.
Observe the breath.
The moon is a reminder that no matter what phase you are in, you are still whole. Your reflection does not always show the whole picture. Sometimes you are glowing, on your game. Sometimes, life gets in the way and you need to star gaze from the bench. Let yourself catch up with your soul. Give yourself grace by simplifying your focus on one thing, the breath. You were not designed to constantly respond to and react to an onslaught of information and triggers. You were designed to stop, look, and listen; feel the pulse and the rhythm of nature, all connected under the moon.
When you look up at the moon I want you to remember that you are loved. You are wholly and fully loved for who you are. No matter what phase you are in, embrace love and light. Remember that you can access love at anytime to embrace the stardust in your DNA.
Let the moon be a reminder to you that all of your phases are beautiful. You have transformed so many times and will continue to transform for as long as you are alive. Whatever you are afraid of is an illusion. Each night is an opportunity to release judgement and embrace LOVE. This is the meaning behind the crescent moon logo.
May you be at peace. May your heart be always open. May you awaken to the light of your true nature. May you be healed. May you be a source of healing for others.
